Dr. Nurit Novis-Deutsch

Dr. Nurit Novis-Deutsch lectures in the Department of Learning and Instructional Sciences at the University of Haifa. A graduate of the Hebrew University, she was a Fulbright scholar and visiting lecturer at UC Berkeley. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on values, moral reasoning, social cognition, learning sciences, and the psychology of religion.

Current studies address pluralistic thinking, measuring interdisciplinary learning, shifts in Holocaust memory and education, meaning-making among religious and non-religious emerging adults, and Haredi student integration in academia. Broadly, her work examines how people create meaning and navigate value and identity conflicts within social and educational contexts.
