Rabbi Rosen is the only Board member of the Interfaith Center established by King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia.
He serves as the International Director of Interfaith Affairs at the American Jewish Committee, an Adviser on Interfaith Affairs to the Chief Rabbinate of Israel, and a Board member of the Fund for Coexistence and the Public
Council of B’Tselem organization.
In 2005 Rabbi Rosen received the title of Chief of the Order of Knighthood of St. Gregory the Great in recognition of his contribution to Jewish-Catholic reconciliation; and in 2010 he received the title of Commander of the Order of the British Empire from Queen Elizabeth II.
