Emir Muhammad Sharif Odeh
the leader of the Ahmadiyya Islamic Community in Israel and the Palestinian Authority. He grew up and studied extensively with the sages of the community who arrived from India.
Later, he served as chairman of the Youth Council and in other positions in the community before being elected Head of the Community in Israel and the Palestinian Authority in 1999.
