
Yoav Philip is a PhD candidate at the University of Haifa. He holds a BA in Middle
Eastern and Islamic History from Tel Aviv University and an MA in Islamic Studies
from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His research focuses on the transmission
of Islamic knowledge in medieval Jewish thought using computational tools. He also
serves as an advisor and researcher at the Elijah Lab, a hub for digital humanities at the University of Haifa, specializing in computational processing of Arabic and Judeo-Arabic texts.
