Progress in interfaith cooperation, following our success in Haifa, the HLRS recently began to lay the foundations for the establishment of another multifaith leadership group – this time in Ramla. The initiative, with the support of the local mayor, began with a series of six meetings with about 20 religious leaders, representing diverse communities, including Orthodox Jewish, Muslim and Christian communities.
Our hope is that, as in Haifa, in Ramla too, these meetings will lead to the establishment of another multifaith forum in a city known for its Jewish-Arab population.
