He began his\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">ordination in the Franciscan Order in the province of Emilia-Romagna\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">(Italy), in 1984.<\/span><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"about\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">He was ordained as a priest in 1990. Pizzaballa completed\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">his Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Theology in Rome.
