Prof.<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"about\">\n<div class=\"p-pdf_iframe__page\" aria-label=\"Page 8\" data-page-number=\"8\">\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"annotationLayer\" dir=\"ltr\">Trajtenberg served as a consultant to the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Prime Minister&#8217;s Office, head of the research program in &#8220;Science, Technology and Economics&#8221; at the Samuel Neaman Institute for National Policy in the Technion, Chairman of the Planning and Budgeting Committee of the National Council of Ministers and a member of the Shochat Committee for examining the higher education system.<\/div>\n<p><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"p-pdf_iframe__page\" dir=\"ltr\" aria-label=\"Page 9\" data-page-number=\"9\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"textLayer\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">During the Social Protest of 2011 he was\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">appointed to head the &#8220;Committee for Social and Economic Change&#8221; (The\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Trajtenberg Committee).
