Archbishop Mata is a graduate of Computer Science\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Studies at the Technion.<\/span><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"about\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">After graduation he turned to Religious Studies at\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">a Beit Jala Seminary, near Bethlehem. He held many positions in the\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">church in Galilee, and continued his studies in Rome, where he received\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">his PhD.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">He served as a teacher at the Theological school of the Greek\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Catholic Patriarchate in Lebanon, and from 2013 he was the Assistant to\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">the Head of the Greek Catholic Community in Nazareth.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Archbishop Yosef Mata From Eilabun, is the archbishop of the Greek Catholic community (Melkite) of the Galilee, Nazareth, Northern Samaria,\u00a0Acre and Haifa.
