Odeya Shaz is a PhD student and President's Fellow in the Middle Eastern
Studies Department at Bar Ilan University.

Odeya holds a Bachelor's degree in Middle Eastern Studies and General History, and a Master's
degree in Middle Eastern Studies, both of which she completed with
distinction at Bar Ilan University.

Her research deals with the role of religion and clerics, in Islam and Judaism, in fluctuations on the axis
between peace and conflict between Israel and the Arab-Muslim world.
