Christina is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Religious Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

She holds a Masters degree in Religious Studies from Andrews University, Michigan, and a Masters degree in Biblical and Ancient Near Eastern Studies from the Hebrew University.

Her research focuses on the relations between Judaism and Christianity in modern Israel. Her doctoral dissertation specifically examines the dissemination of the gospel to Hebrew-speaking Jews in Israel by Messianic Jews, using a comparative approach to missionary methods employed with Jews in the United States, Europe, and Palestine during the modern era (19th and early 20th centuries).

The research addresses crucial and sensitive issues in the interfaith encounter between Judaism and Christianity, such as hybrid identity, theological flexibility of religious movements in formation, the consolidation of indigenous identity through the trial method, a reconstructive eschatology of the 'Church of the Circumcision,' and Christian missionary efforts in the era of reconciliation
