Prof. Manuel Trajtenberg
Emeritus Professor of Economics at Tel Aviv University and has served since May 2021 as head of the Institute for National Security Studies. Prof.
Trajtenberg served as a consultant to the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Prime Minister's Office, head of the research program in "Science, Technology and Economics" at the Samuel Neaman Institute for National Policy in the Technion, Chairman of the Planning and Budgeting Committee of the National Council of Ministers and a member of the Shochat Committee for examining the higher education system.
During the Social Protest of 2011 he was appointed to head the "Committee for Social and Economic Change" (The Trajtenberg Committee). Holder of the Order of Quality of Government Knighthood, on behalf of the Movement for Quality Government in Israel.
