 In 1994 and 2000 she sang before Pope John Paul II. In 2003 she was appointed a Goodwill Ambassador on behalf of FAO - the Food and Agriculture Organization.

In January 2009, she was chosen by the Israel Broadcasting Authority to represent Israel in Moscow at the 2009 Eurovision contest together with Mira Awad, performing the song "There Must be Another Way", in Hebrew, English and Arabic.

The two received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Mayor of Lourdes, France.
