Born in Manchester, England, graduated from Law Studies at the University of Manchester. Studied at Merkaz
Harav Yeshiva in Jerusalem and continued his studies at the Harry Fischel Institute for Talmudic Research.

He is the former rabbi of Kfar Haroe, and also served as rabbi of the Hefer Valley Regional Council. He currently serves as a member of the Chief Rabbinate of Israel Council and as Acting rabbi of the Bnei Brak.
