The Secretary General of the World Baha'i Community.
He holds an MD from Brown University and a Master's degree in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health.

During a 36-year career, he created and led clinical and managerial innovation for management teams and organizations. Dr. Rothstein recently founded Sol HEALTH, a non-profit organization working to promote health and disease prevention among various populations worldwide.

He previously served as Vice President of Medical Affairs for United Family Health in the private medical system in China. Dr. Rothstein also served as Deputy Surgeon General of the United States until 2011.
