Acre as a New Partner in the Multifaith Leadership Group Project
Acre is one of the prominent mixed cities in Israel. After the success of our multifaith leadership group project in Haifa and the establishment of a second group that will begin meeting in Ramla next week, we are preparing the ground for the launch of a third group in Acre.
The new mayor of Acre Mr. Amichai Ben-Shelush has expressed great enthusiasm for our initiative and a strong commitment to lead it in his city. As in other such initiatives, our collaboration with the Religious Communities Division at the Ministry of the Interior is central. Dr. Janan Falah, our senior researcher, will oversee the fulfillment of this initiative in the Acre.
