Dr. Seiple is a seasoned leader with over 30 years of global experience in innovative education, fostering cross-cultural teams to promote freedom of conscience, the rule of law, character, and social cohesion at the intersection of governments and grassroots.

His ability to bridge political and theological divides in a non-partisan manner earned him advisory roles with both Democratic and Republican administrations, such as serving on a federal advisory committee to the U.S. Secretary of State from 2011 to 2013.

In 2020, he was a Senior Advisor to the U.S. Agency for International Development, directing research and providing policy input for the first-ever evidence-based summit on Strategic Religious Engagement. He founded the journal "The Review of Faith & International Affairs" in 2003, co-edited "The Routledge Handbook on Religion & Security" (2013), co-authored "International Religious Freedom Advocacy: A Guide to Organizations, Law, and NGOs" (2009), and co-edited "The Routledge Handbook on Religious Literacy, Pluralism & Global Engagement".

Seiple is a lifetime member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a charter member of its religious advisory committee. He served as Vice-Chair (2012-2014) and Chair (2014-2015) of the World Economic Forum's Global Agenda Council on the Role of Faith and co-founded the IRF Roundtable. He also operates his own consulting firm, The Sagestone Group.
