Dr. Miriam Feldmann Kaye
Dr. Miriam Feldmann Kaye is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Jewish
Philosophy at Bar Ilan University, visiting Assistant Professor at Jewish
Theological Seminary, New York, and a Fellow at the Van Leer Institute
Polonsky Library.
She is currently academic editor of the new St Andrews
University Encyclopedia of Jewish Theology. Dr Feldmann Kaye is a
recipient of the University of Cambridge Theological Studies Prize, and
specializes in Late Modern Jewish philosophy, the philosophy of religion,
the Study of Religions and interfaith theology.
She previously founded and led the Middle East branch of the Faith and Belief Forum, pioneering
interreligious text study between Muslims, Christians, Jews and Druze in
Jerusalem and in various other fora. She held post-doctoral scholarships at
the Department for Comparative Religion at the Hebrew University, and at
the Truman Research Institute for the Advancement of Peace and Reconciliation.
Her publications include her book Jewish Theology for a
Postmodern Age, and other works on interfaith relations and theology.
